Happy 100th Day of School everyone!!!
We had a lovely 100th day today. We started the day in the gym for O’ Canada and the announcements.
We then had our daily calendar and weather circle. Let’s not forget, 100’s day calendar!!! That’s right! We counted to 100 today!
After our morning jobs, we had phonics. Today we learned the “OU” sound. We listed some words that had the sound in them and completed an activity to extend the lesson. As the students worked, we took some pictures of our 100-year old friends.
After recess, our 100 Days of School activities continued. We began by saying a rhyme and counting the number of letters in the rhyme. We then made our “I am 100 days smarter!” crowns. They turned out lovely.
To end of our 100 days of school activities, we went to the gym, filled in our gumball machine with bingo dabber gumballs, with assistance from the grade ones and twos. The last activity we did was, line up our 100 pieces of one item to see how long our items looked after they were out of the bags and lined up.
Finally, the day ended with Mme. Villeneuve in French class.
Everyone looked wonderful today!
Just a reminder: Tomorrow is skating day
I hope everyone has a great evening.
